Day 1 - Our Sandbox Toys are Bigger than Yours

Well, the fun begins. We had about 1/3 of the pipe delivered today, and some exploratory digging for water lines and such. At the end of the day we have two of these tracked excavators in the yard and one large front loader. What have you got in your yard?

Each of these sections weighs about 6 tons. There will be about 50 of them. Made in Roanoke VA and trucked here.

Sharon can almost stand up in these. I will take a snap of her in one tomorrow.

I took this next one before all of the first 1/3 of the pipe had turned up.

Tomorrow they start ripping things up.
